Kiev hosted the central event of Ukrainian Blockchain Week—Incrypted Conference 2025—on June 14, featuring a pivotal panel discussion on crypto regulation. Government representatives, including MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak and NCSSM head Ruslan Magomedov, debated regulatory challenges and the progress of Ukraine''s draft VIRTUAL Assets Law.

The bill, unanimously supported by the VRU Committee on Finance in April 2025, is now awaiting parliamentary review. Stakeholders emphasized the need for balanced oversight to foster innovation while mitigating risks in the burgeoning crypto sector.
